About us:
Knight Movers is a family owned and run business operating out of Redland Bay, QLD. The main bulk of our work is residential furniture removals with some commercial furniture removals throughout the south east Queensland area. Through our work our aim is to deliver our customers goods safely, damage free. We offer a friendly and quality service.

We are seeking a Lead Removalist who has an MR license and is willing to drive a 12 tonne truck and a 4 tonne truck based on the job requirements. There will be the occasional long haul job where the driving will be shared with another driver.
We require a physically fit person who is motivated and not afraid to be challenged, who will help us to deliver a quality service to our customers. The successful applicant will be required to interact and communicate professionally with the customers and within the team.

Job responsibilities:

-Loading and unloading of truck
-Damage prevention
-Driving the truck to and from required locations with care.
-Quality wrap and protect furniture items
-Attention to detail

Skills & Requirements:

· MR Licence
· Customer Service
· Time management
· Quality Management
· Minimum 1 year of experience in home removals
· Ability to follow operating procedures
· An appropriate level of physical fitness
· Clean driving record

We are seeking a reliable offsider for casual work in the Redland Bay area. The applicant must be fit and strong as there is heavy lifting involved. You must also be able to “think on your feet” and use initiative. Due to the nature of the job, sometimes last minute notice can be required. Must also be willing to work Saturdays as needed. An open car licence is preferred to drive small truck or Ute.
Use of intoxicating substances on or prior to jobs will not be tolerated.
Previous experience as a Removalist is preferred but not essential.
