A mixture of issues, some age related, Typical EGR blockages and oil cooler leakages, brittle plastic hose union & perishing hoses.
A very messy & time consuming job, loads of cleaning required, Block valley degreased and cleaned, New Genuine oil cooler, gaskets & cooler pipe work as required.
Glow plugs are always recommended while we are working in the valley.
throttle body carbon cleaned out, new body Oring seals.
Plastic Intakes, carbon removed as carefully as we can safely reach internally.
Repaired & back on the road again 👍
The Motor can breath a little better & a oil leak that wont be dripping on the clients driveway any longer.👍

Im 99% sure the valve train
Could do with some serious cleaning too….
Its a shame we can’t just turn the engine inside out & give it a soak and a scrub😁😂

There is no substitute for a safe and reliability car to get to work in,
For most of us, Car = Job

Petrol, Diesel, Hybrid or Electric…. All the same
If you do not maintain your
Daily drive, it will become a dangerous liability and failures will occur.

We have noticed massive increases of vehicle neglect since 2019, obviously it all comes down to money, or the share lack of….
predominantly due to the constant bombardment of mortgage rate hikes, causing more than just a ripple effect …. but major financial struggles.
This is directly impacting vehicle safety on WA roads

Which will affect everyone
Including the increasing insurance premiums via claims.

The things we see everyday;
From over due basic car maintenance….
Bald and dangerous tyres
Lack of safety inspections
Detrimental Engine damage, transmission or driveline Failures,
Often due to zero maintenance ….

Vehicles that would not pass a roadworthy

These guys had that great old customer service that is so hard to find in business’s these days
They had a great bunch of very helpful and knowledgeable guys
Trade is going to feel the loss.

Sad to see this business disappear.
