What makes this business so unique and significant is the fact that this business model has been developed around the notion of ‘giving back’ and providing an ongoing source of funding for charities, with 50% of all profits made on the sale of items, going to local and international charities, in addition to supporting local artists and designers. Although Good Dharma sources goods Internationally
, i.e., Belgium, England, India and Indonesia, we wish to provide a platform for new local artists and designers to showcase their pieces. As a new and unique business, we want to invite as many people interested in this concept of “helping others through business success” to support this model, weather through direct purchase, or simply recommending us to those in the market for unique, quality and reasonably priced goods (all with a story of course!). We feel that the more like minded people we can attract, the more likely it is that this will help promote public awareness of our brand and our ethos.
