A Friday afternoon break on the green after a big working week. It’s been great to have Leo Hinkel from Balon Corporation visiting Australia from the US and joining the Trident team on customer visits.
 
Trident Australia has partnered with Balon Corporation for more than 20 years, supplying reliable valve solutions for well service equipment and pipeline applications across Australia. With local stock of ball, swing check and needle valves, as well as repair kits and spare parts, we are able to respond quickly to field requirements and provide our customers with fast, dependable service and support.
 
It’s always good having the opportunity for supplier visits and catching up in person with the teams and operators using these products in the field.

Burst testing is a critical part of validating hose assemblies for safety, reliability and compliance before they are placed into service.

At Trident Australia, burst testing is conducted within our ballistics rated hose test container, providing a controlled and safety-managed environment for high-pressure testing applications.

The value of burst testing is not simply determining maximum pressure capability. It is about verifying that:

Another great example of the experience and capability the Trident team brings to offshore operations 🌊

Robert “Rab” Gallacher recently completed an offshore scope supporting an Umbilical Pre-Commissioning and Riser Campaign, successfully delivering the works to the required quality standards and project timeframes.

Following the campaign, we received some excellent feedback from the customer, highlighting Rab’s proactive approach, attention to detail, and ability to quickly get up to speed after mobilising at short notice. Acting as the primary point of contact onboard, his contribution helped ensure smooth and efficient ex*****on throughout the project.

At Trident Australia, we have experienced offshore and onsite technicians available to support a wide range of testing, commissioning, inspection and operational scopes, both onshore and offshore.

A big thank you to Rab for representing Trident Australia so professionally offshore 👏
