Oil pumps everywhere. We have plenty of full billet barra pumps in stock and plenty of RB pumps off an annodising.

All of our oil pumps and oil pump gears to suit OEM housings are designed, developed, machined, tested and assembled in house at High Speed Engineering in Western Australia. The only thing we fon’t do is the annodising.

We have been doing a heap of oil pump testing this week. We’ve tested both out Billet RB pumps amd our billet barra pumps with various pressure relief spring combinations to run anything from standard pressure to 35psi above standard. We’ve tested both pumps to 8000rpm.

Barra pumps are now available and our RB production run will start next week.

All pumps will ship with a standard oil pressure setup and higher pressures/flow can be purchased as an option.

Today we started testing our billet barra oil pumps compared to a stock OEM oil pump.
This pair of videos shows the difference between an factory aluminium backing plate on the OEM barra pump and then exactly the same setup with one of our billet steel barra backing plates.
As you can see, the standard backing plate flexes from the oil pressure and bypasses a lot of oil. The steel backing plate does not flex at all and keeps more oil inside the pump. This was only a max of 6000rpm
