There are many mistakes we see when it comes to kitchen design, and some are much easier (and cheaper) to fix on paper than once your kitchen is installed.
The second costly mistake in the series is not planning enough storage.
It’s easy to focus on how your kitchen will look and forget about everything that actually needs to live in it. Awkward corners, not enough drawers, nowhere for small appliances or a pantry that’s too small can quickly turn a beautiful kitchen into a frustrating one.
And adding storage later? Not exactly an easy (or cheap) fix.
Avoid this by planning your storage around how you actually use your kitchen. Think about what you reach for every day, what you want hidden away and where everything needs to go.
A clever kitchen design makes space work harder for you.
