This project was a 1920`s house with a 80`s rear extension (new kitchen, large family room) the flooring was finished with tiles and carpet, but the home owner wanted Jarrah flooring. As we have the ability to custom make board sizes from recycled timer, there was no need to remove the tiles, and two different thickness of boards were used (14 and 24mm) to make one clean level floor.
The varnish finish was Matt but the floor looks glossy because the varnish is still wet.

This particular install was of 100% recycled old floorboard with a direct stick to the concrete slab method. Most installers out there prefer not to work with them, as they can be very difficult to install and finish, but as you can see it can be done. The sanding and varnishing team did a great job.

Renewable timber products

We are a timber flooring company that believe in sourcing renewable timber products and reclaiming/recycling timber floors. We have worked with recycled timber flooring and products for almost 25 years and remachined remilled replicated floorboards from old timber beams for the past 12 years.

The mills that we are associated with will custom make floorboards to your requirements or needs and at an afordable price. You are very welcome to attend at our warehouse and see samples of our products or have our salesman attend at your house and discuss the products and services available.

We are based in bayswater an wanneroo.

We are able to provide to you the following products.

Remachined timber 165mm x 24mm @ $75psqm as installed at the Ku De Ta restuarant on the swan river.

130-5mm x 19-24mm $65psqm (as installed at the Westonia Hotel) we can even provide additional 14mm product

105-10mm x 19mm $55psqm

80-85mm x 19mm $45psqm

57-65mm x 19mm $40psqm

we can even provide thicknesses from 10mm to 30mm an any other requested size.

We currently have recycled flooring prodcuts which start from $15psqm (subject to availability and discussions)and can have the flooring fully installed at a special price.

We like working with this material for a number of reasons, its recycled hence environmentally friendly, stable and not prone to movement through variances in moisture content as all movement has been experienced over the years , and it is a beautiful product, with many natural features and colour hues.

Jarrah timber flooring can be bleached, limed and stained. This creates outstanding effects on the final product. We specialize in all aspects of those processes.

We also install any type of flooring using various techniques such as: direct stick method onto concrete, installation on plywood and traditional - on battens or joists.

With regards to coating products, we use all varnishes available on the Australian

market.

The most popular product are water based finishes such as Bona Traffic and Loba.

Polyurethane products, we prefer to use Polycure and Tobies.

Oil Based, OSMO, Synteko oil and all decking oils

We have been involved in various commercial and residential projects around Perth.

We were involved in machining floorboards for numerous commercial developments, floorboards for the the BHP BUILDLING Perth, KU DE TA restuarant an the Montgomery house in Mt Claremont.

We remain involved in numerous residential projects. Many residential projects have been completed in the metropolitan area.

We also specialise in concrete preparation prior to installation of any flooring. Starting from removal of damaged timber floors, to diamond grinding of concrete floors.

Repair work is another areas of our expertise. Recycle and re-milled flooring is used extensively for these purposes.

Our company also supplies and installs laminate flooring, engineering flooring and cork.

We supply custom made stairs and installation.

Stainless steal balustrade and glass balustrade installation - all prices are custom to job.

We can also supply all of out products for those who choose to do DIY.

We also organise delivery, throughout Perth - metro and regional areas. Australia wide delivery can also be arranged.
