Chris began his journey as an apprentice upholsterer back in 1995 doing full re-upholstery of Jason recliners, antiques, classic lounges, dining chairs and some commercial hospitality fit-outs. This was followed by stints as a lecturer for local TAFE upholstery courses along with work at various local manufacturers. Later studies in furniture design led to the establishment of the company Stylefur

n back in 2003. This enabled Chris to utilise his upholstery skills and formal design studies to create fully customised furniture solutions for a range of local clientele. With a passion for and hands on involvement with the many developments and innovations in the furniture industry over the years Chris has the ability to offer a personalised supply for all types of upholstered seating.

Authentic Designer Armchair!

Originally made as a prototype, this design is reminiscent of the Contour range, including the Contour R152. This chair has been meticulously constructed from scratch, using thin plywood sheets molded into shape. It also boasts a highly polished Italian-made swivel base.

When we say “authentic,” we mean:

1. Genuine: Not a copy or imitation, but the real thing.
2. Original: Made by the original creator, designer, or artist.
3. True to its origins: Reflects the true character, spirit, or intention of its creator.
4. Not tampered with: Has not been altered, modified, or tampered with in any way that would change its original essence.

Authentic Designer Armchair!

Originally made as a prototype, this design is reminiscent of the Contour range, including the Contour R160, R161. This chair has been meticulously constructed from scratch, using thin plywood sheets molded into shape. The upholstery features full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, free from chromium salts, unlike most other upholstery leathers. It also boasts a highly polished Italian-made swivel base.
