A lot of times when people message or call us to quote any job whether it be a kitchen, laundry, wardrobe etc; I will ask for a rough sketch before I come out, just so I know what you want and can guide you to the end result that will be functional and still achieve the look you are after. Smaller jobs most of the time I can quote it off your sketch before i come out.

Here is an example of a small flat pack job we cut last Friday afternoon and supplied to the customer Saturday morning for a long weekend project.
- He supplied me with a rough sketch with the relevant dimensions.
- I drew it up in my software and sent it back to confirm his design.
- He requested some small changes.
- I quoted it, he was happy,
- We cut it and supplied it.

We try and make the process and simple and stress free as possible no matter the size.

We are a small, family run cabinet maker located in Pakenham with a friendly and loyal customer base. Seeking a candidates to join the team and grow this young business.

Cabinet Making qualifications are preferable but training can be provided if you are enthusiastic and looking for a career change.

All our work is to the highest possible quality, no short cuts. We have developed a reputation for exceptional quality since day one and only look to continue that into the future.

Tones more storage, and an awkward shaped wardrobe space!

I love it when we get return customers even after a few years since the last job!

This time we installed this huge built in book shelf/storage cabinetry along with a functional wardrobe in a very awkward shaped wardrobe space. Plenty of small challenges with this job but nothing we couldn’t handle. Even though all the walls were brick we were able to fit the cabinetry so it looked like it had been there the whole time. The wardrobe took a bit of tweaking in the design process to utilise the space effectively but we got there and this customer is very happy!

We’re still here!
The last couple years have been crazy busy; between all the work we have had and my family growing by from 3 to 5 basically over night 😜 I’ve had trouble finding time to share my work.

I started JB Joinery in 2017 as a side project, building tv and entertainment units of my own design at night and on the weekends. This quickly grew into something much bigger than I had anticipated!
