It was a pleasure to supply this beautiful natural attrition Red Gum log as a feature for the Stonnington City Council's Thomas Oval Dog Park in South Yarra. The Tree was felled by a summer storm in February 2015 on our property and our own dog Digby loved exploring it.

An ingenious architectural project encasing a pole inside a tree! The art room at Kyabram Primary School was blemished by a supporting metal pole in the middle of the room. Solution, encapsulate the pole within a tree trunk, bringing beauty and nature into the space. The tree was cut precisely in half, the Lucas Mill routing the central groove cocooning the metal pole so that the tree could be seamlessly joined back together. The tree fell through natural causes right here on our property. A beautiful re-invention bringing delight and wonder to generations of children.

Custom Design – An office of antique furniture is certainly beautiful but hardly ergonomic and our professional client desired the best of both worlds. Accordingly this desk was cleverly crafted combining original oak legs extended in height with a custom made top providing the ideal amount of comfortable, practical workspace. Proving you really can have your cake and eat it too! Desk top crafted from Karri (Eucalyptus Diversicolor) a durable Australian hardwood with wide appeal for fine furniture designers.

The finest of blades showcased to perfection in a bespoke reclaimed red gum case. Japanese Damascus Steel Sushi Knife with South Australian Olive wood handle nestles in a unique case of glorious Red Gum from the reclaimed timbers of the Wangaratta Stockbridge circa 1935.
