A little background information
Hi my name is Deb Bozsan. I am a wife, a mother and a grandmother. I moved to Orbost almost four years ago. I am a lover of all things music. I love to sing (usually in the shower) and I also play multiple musical instruments. Last December I decided to put together a singing group as an opportunity to immerse myself in the Community. My singing group are a beautiful mix of people. The way it works? We each choose a few of our favourite songs and they get added to our song lists. We then all learn and sing each others songs as a group. We alternate our song lists each week so we do not get sick of the same thing over and over but so we have the opportunity to become familiar and improve with them. We are doing our best to reduce our carbon footprint. I have a guitarist and a projector (for the lyrics and chords). On the days the guitarist is not available we use the projector with video lyrics. If I cannot find video lyrics for your songs, I will create them. We usually keep in touch by email or facebook. I can also send you a link for my Youtube Channel and you can learn and sing along to our songs on there. There is also the spotify app that can be downloaded for free onto your ipad or mobile phone where you can create our song lists as well. The sessions go for two hours. Its the opportunity to make new friends, bond, sing and relieve some tension. You do not have to be a professional singer to join in with us. We take a couple of breaks throughout the session and bond over a cuppa. We gather every Thursday from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. The cost? A $2 donation that goes back to Neighbourhood House for their use of the building and electricity. Looking forward to seeing you there!
