Technical Sales Role – Uncapped Commission -Office Furniture Solutions - Detail-Oriented, High Output
Q Office Furniture is seeking a high-output, detail-focused technical thinker to join our team.
This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with plans, and producing accurate, high-quality work at speed.
Sales is part of the role—but your technical ability, attention to detail, and work rate are what will set you apart.

The Role
• Work with existing customers and qualified leads
• Assess client requirements and develop practical solutions
• Conduct on-site measure-ups and site assessments
• Interpret plans and translate them into workable solutions
• Design office layouts and furniture configurations
• Prepare accurate, detailed quotes
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Follow jobs through from concept to order
You’ll spend 1–2 days per week on-site (Orange/Dubbo region) and the remainder in the office producing work.

What This Role Really Is
This is a problem-solving and production role.
You will be:
• Turning client requirements into clear, buildable solutions
• Producing layouts, quotes, and specifications quickly and accurately
• Managing a high volume of work without losing detail
• Continuously improving speed and accuracy over time
Within 2–3 months, you will build strong familiarity with products and systems, allowing you to produce solutions efficiently and confidently.

Skills & Systems
• Competent with Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Willingness to learn a simple drawing program (SmartDraw or similar)
• Ability to learn systems such as MYOB and/or Xero
• Ability to read and interpret basic plans (or willingness to learn quickly)
No prior experience required—however, a strong aptitude for technical work and systems is essential.

Work Structure
• 1–2 days per week on-site (measure-ups and consultations)
• 3 days per week in the office
• Regular pipeline of work from existing customers and inbound leads
• Target of 5–7 site consultations per week

You will work on projects ranging from $500 to $200,000+, covering:
• Office layouts
• Furniture selection
• Storage and filing systems
• Custom solutions

Hours
Standard hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
High performers in this role often extend beyond this to maintain output and efficiency.
