CULTURE CRUSH | Edit 01

Culture Crush is a raw, behind-the-scenes check-in on my design practice: the process, thinking, and pieces taking shape in the studio. Alongside this, I share a quick trio of what’s currently turning my head and quietly influencing both work and play.

For those who care about considered design, handcrafted objects, and the people behind them.

First edit lands at the end of the month. Come join. Link in bio.

NELSON | Refectory Table

Our take on the traditional refectory table it was designed to stand strong as an impressive feature table, while comfortably seating 14+ people.
Pictured here in recycled Blackbutt at 4.1m long, the Nelson is custom made to suit your space. Timber selection is subject to availability, ensuring each piece carries its own quiet story and character.

Built for long lunches, loud gatherings, and the passing of time.

JANUARY | 2026
We slowed down and gave January to us. We put family first as it was Sal’s last month as an only child so we spoilt her with all the things sand pits, sprinklers and time with us. It was magic and it reminded us why we do what we do. A reflective dump to share our two passions family and work.
1. Sal playing in the sprinkler, pure happiness. Huge vibes right?
2. Sal and Tom “mowing the lawn”
3. A visit to and some of my favourites from the
4. Sally loves sand (and so does dad).
5. Tom in his element joining his favourite kind of tables 5x1.2 metre ones aka big ones.
6. The big one coming together for a pretty great client.
7. Dad officially masters porridge (yes Sal eats it all year round)
8. Another deep dive into .y.o.e work with a few added to the TK studio mood board.
9. A staycation What a view!
10. Architect really shaped the view with his excellent eye for shape and form.
11. And because I’m obsessed with materials a close up of the spotted gum panels and rammed earth
12. Minnie and Sal time.
13. A visit to to see Harrie Fasher’s work Again I’m obsessed with materials
14. A huge 1.8x1.8 wool coffee table that has been on the dream board for said great clients!
15. The 5 metre table all finished. Sooo huge it is hard to photograph the scale but gosh there will be some great times around this one.

As we welcome February and the pace of 2026, we’re taking a short pause to savour life in the newborn bubble.

Balancing life as a new family of four while running our business will be messy, joyful, and full of learning but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We’re so grateful for the continued support of our clients and will respond to enquiries thoughtfully upon our return.

MATERIAL SPOTLIGHT | Yanderra Blackbutt

We work primarily with recycled Australian hardwoods, embracing their age, natural character and colour variations. Our Yanderra Blackbutt fascia boards carry deep brown tones with subtle pink undertones, gentle movement, and a soft, tactile finish crafted intuitively and forgivingly. Limited in supply, each piece is truly one of a kind and will only further develop its own patina and story.

Visit our showroom open today 9am-3pm to view our current sample library.

ELTON | Desk

Inspired by the deeply human act of creative writing, the Elton desk balances quiet strength with slim, elegant lines and traditional chamfered leg detailing. Crafted from recycled Blackbutt salvaged from a residence in Yanderra NSW, its deep brown tones and subtle pink undertones reveal natural grain, movement and a soft, tactile finish.

Create a life where you can slow down and reflect on the day at a beautifully handcrafted desk.

JANUARY | Embracing slow

As we slow down and embrace a little more time with family during the gentler pace January offers, we’d like to take a moment to thank all the clients who supported us throughout 2025.

It brings us great joy crafting furniture that feels considered, intentional, and deeply personal and we couldn’t do it without the support of like minded people who also appreciate this quieter time of year.

So for now dont rush to get back into things, relax, unwind, resist the urge to plan. Simply embrace what’s here the people, the moments, and the slower rhythm of January.
