Play and Sing Playgroup

Play and Sing Playgroup Come along with your little ones (0-5 years) for a playgroup filled with lots of fun. Play and Sing Playgroup is for families with children aged 0-5 years old.

Playgroup runs every Friday from 9.30am to 11.30am during the NSW School Term. It operates out of The Hub Baptist Church located on the corners of Rajah Rd and Bindaree Way, Ocean Shores (just behind K-Hub). You can enter the playgroup either through the main entrance of the church or from various side-gates surrounding the building that lead into the outdoor play area. This is a great way to meet

other families and let the kids have some fun play in a safe and friendly environment. Tea and Coffee is provided for the adults and please feel free to bring any snacks you wish for your child as we have tables and chairs for you to sit, chat, eat and enjoy. There is a wonderful enclosed outdoor area with shaded sandpit, cubby house, slides, trikes and plenty of different toys and games to choose from, to suit all age groups (babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers). Toilets and change facilities are located at the entrance of the church and a bright and airy indoor play area is located at the back. We are happy for you to arrive and leave when it suits you as we know that children’s energy, nap and feeding times are all different. People generally arrive from around 9.30am but there is no pressure to be there by a certain time, you can come when you like. At 11am everyone comes together for a fun singing session with playful, interactive music using lots of different props including instruments, ribbons and even a parachute with balls! These activities greatly impact your children’s creativity, physical and spiritual well-being. There are no joining fees but a $3 donation is appreciated to contribute towards the running costs of the playgroup. You can attend when it suits you!
