In true Odyssey socials style, we’re a little late in posting this but it may just be one of the most important posts we ever do so, better late than never.
Right back at the beginning of Odyssey’s journey, Cat and I talked about needing to find someone with skills in cabinet making or carpentry to help me bring my passion and dream to life. So, naturally, when walked in and told us he was a chef, we hired him straight away 😅
Without a doubt, this was one of the best decisions I ever made for this business because in walked a man with the calm of a buddha, a heart of gold and a huge capacity to learn, reflect and grow alongside me and that we did. Together, we built Odyssey from a passion into a business with so much potential and I could never have done it without him by my side.
Rune became my right hand man, his beautiful partner became our admin and guide as we navigated so many new challenges and we became a little family.
In the blink of an eye, we both started our own families and held each other through the challenges this brought as we entered this new chapter both personally and professionally. We will forever be grateful for Rune stepping up in the twins early days to allow us time as a family 💙
Sadly (for us), late last year Rune, Mia, Lewis and Sonny hit the road for life in Melbourne and it took a little while for us to adapt to our new normal. We look back with so much gratitude and we wish nothing but the best for these guys in their next chapter.
Whatever the future holds for us at Odyssey, Rune and Mia will always be a central part of its legacy.
