📣 Final Committee Meeting of the Season – RSVP Please 📣

Our final Committee Meeting for the season will be held Tuesday 31st March, and we’d love to see as many people there as possible.

This meeting will focus on:
✅ Season wrap-up
✅ What worked well & what we can improve
✅ Forward planning for the 2026/27 season

Northam Junior Cricket Association is a community-run association, and we rely on volunteers to help provide a safe, positive and enjoyable cricket experience for our junior players and families.

We are calling for expressions of interest to join the Committee for the 2026/27 season.

Roles include:
• President
• Registrar
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Child Safeguarding Officer (new role)
• Cricket Blast Coordinator
• Female Cricket Coordinator (new role)
• Social Media Coordinator (new role)
• Team Representatives
• …and more!

No experience is required for most roles — support and handover will be provided.

Huge congratulations to Toodyay Cricket Club on being named WA Country Cricket Club of the Year! 🏆👏

As one of our valued junior clubs, this is an incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication and community spirit that makes Toodyay such a special part of the NJCA.

A big shoutout to all the volunteers, coaches, umpires, scorers and committee members who give their time behind the scenes — this recognition is so well deserved! 🙌

We’re proud to have Toodyay as part of our association and can’t wait to see what next season brings. 🏏

What a fantastic morning of junior cricket to close out the 2025/26 season, with two exciting Grand Finals played at Bert Hawke Reserve 👏

A great showcase of the talent, sportsmanship, and team spirit across our association!

U12 Grand Final
York Imperials CC U12 defeated Goomalling CC U12 by 34 runs (7/102 to 8/68)
A terrific contest with both sides giving it their all 💪

A strong all-round performance, including 2/5 from 3 overs 🔥

U16 Grand Final
St Joseph’s School U16 defeated Toodyay CC U16 by 88 runs (8/165 to 77)

Our Local Boys Shine at the 2026 U14 Regional Development Carnival! 🏏

We’re incredibly proud of our NJCA players who represented the Wheatbelt at this year’s U14 Regional Development Carnival in Perth. It’s fantastic to see the hard work and dedication of our local cricketers paying off on a bigger stage!

🏏2026 REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT CARNIVAL🏏

What a weekend it was for the Wheatbelt team at this seasons U14 Regional Development Carnival, hosted in Perth for the first time
The team performed extremely well on field, with some incredible individual performances along the way.

A huge thanks to Kitt Byfield (Toodyay) for his time and expertise in coaching the team. All the boys thoroughly appreciate your time and have all gone home better players from your coaching.

Lastly, a massive thankyou to the parents for their commitment to getting their kids to Perth and supporting them all weekend. A massive commitment, and I'm sure all the boys are extremely grateful!
