Couple of new additions to the collection this week. Including this pair of bloody fabulous sculptural chocolate brown suede and fibreglass shell chairs. I’m still working on the attribution. Lmk if you have any ideas. Honestly they feel Italian to me but I’m still searching.

And a pretty fab huge modernist painting at 1.2 x 1.2 in size, with strong decorative appeal. Strong similarities to works by Afromov Studio but not attributed to.

The collection keeps growing and I’m excited to bring them to you. Have a great weekend!

Sorry for the social media silence of late but I’ve taken a much needed hiatus from all the sm noise. That said, I’m still buying restoring and selling and am in the beginning of a new collection cycle. So if you have something to sell, now is the time to reach out!

New breakfasting spot.

Circa 1970-1980s tropical modern, McGuire inspired dining set comprising of rattan backed armchairs with twisted cane frames and soft pink upholstery.

Pictured here with a separately sourced round table with a woven rattan convex pedestal base, supported by delicate steel legs. The timber top is a later addition that has been refinished and presents beautifully. A sculptural and highly decorative piece that works equally well indoors or in a covered outdoor setting.

100 cm diameter.

Amazing and dramatic rosewood grain. Extremely usable - a quality Johanne Sorth is known for and demonstrated by the divisions to the top and second drawer.

When I’m on the hunt to find items to bring to you, my dear follower, I am intent on items that are both beautiful and interesting and I think this lovely item fits both categories.

Made in Italy some time during the 1980s by Scanglobe, the amber glow created by this beauty is undeniable. And if you want to brush up on your historical geography this might be perfect! Haha.

It’s been a busy day and in my hunt to find you the best pieces possible I stumbled across this beautiful rosewood Danish 6 drawer chest of drawers. With a double division in the top drawer and another single divider in the second, I’m so excited to have found this beauty.

100 x 102 high x 45 deep you’ll have plenty of room for your treasures.

Also sourced for your shopping pleasure is a pair of solid brass cranes, the tallest of which stands at 53 cm high.
