I do what I love; sourcing and restoring beautifully designed, Mid century items. Along the way I get to enjoy them and then I get to see the enjoyment they bring to others. It’s been a journey to get to here and it promises to be one hell of a ride.

Designed by Poul Volthner the Corona chair is one of the most iconic and collectable chairs designed during the mid century period and if you haven’t owned one this is your opportunity. Dm me for more info.

A striking pair of lounge chairs dating to approximately 1990, combining beautifully patinated tan leather with sculptural bent chrome frames.

The design appears to be inspired by the KU2B chairs by Patricia Urquiola and Sung Sook Kim for Fasem, although they are labeled underneath as being produced by Meridian Studios for David Jones.

Low slung, generous and comfortable, with the continuous chrome arms giving them a strong architectural profile.

The leather has developed a wonderful warmth and character while remaining in excellent condition. There are a couple of marks on the leather as expected due to age. We have conditioned the leather and polished the frames in preparation of sale. The chrome presents beautifully.

A very cool pair that sits somewhere between late modernism and early 90s design.

STORAGE/LIBRARY

We have 4 of these in stock at present. All made from solid teak and have movable shelves, they are all in excellent condition. The 2 longest ones have cutouts at the base where power points were attached as shown in pictures. The first bookcase pictured is of the wider variety and has no backing to the lower component. All of the others have backing that is intact.

Dimensions:
2 largest are 1.7 wide x 23 deep x 1.995 high
2 smaller 1.26 wide x 23 deep x 1.995

These came out of a house that had them as a library space, lining 2 sides of a room.

Available now. I suspect they won’t last long.

Just in. A very rare and difficult to come by Model 82 by Parker from 1976. Huge thank you to Covesmore Solutions for helping me identify it and supplying me with the catalogue pages.

Freshly sanded and refinished in traditional oil as per the way it would have been when out of the showroom.

Also pictured are 4 Danish dining chairs, also in teak and black vinyl by Johannes Andersen for Mobelfabrik.

We’re back from our road trip to Victoria and what a trip it was! After making our delivery to the beautiful Bells Beach we meandered our way along the coast staying in some wonderful pubs, meeting locals and drinking way too much wine.

First up is this wonderful 1970s table with hand made and hand glazed tiles. It’s a real beauty and is in excellent condition with no damage whatsoever. I’m still working on the maker but it has wonderful brutalist vibes.

1.35 long x 62 wide x 41 high.
