“ if you ever wanted a massive one piece slab that’s not joined then this is the piece”

After a lot of debating with myself because I really want to keep it, we decided to level up this bad girl and give someone the chance to own it. This is the WIDEST!! 1 piece slab we have (absolutely no joins). It’s been 12 plus years since we’ve had anything this wide come through and we’re probably unlikely to see one again anytime soon.

This monster Swamp Cypress is one we milled years ago from a log that came from Beerwah QLD. Unfortunately it had to come down to make way for a new build, but it will live on forever now as one gob smacking table piece. This is the largest one we had in the pack, and I’m still thinking I’ll probably cry the day it leaves. We are currently offering it for sale as a levelled and rough sanded piece, but after the holidays I will most likely take it back to the yard to finish her off as a table top.

If you ever wanted a monster one piece slab to be a talking point in your house then this is it. Last photo shows one of its smaller sister slabs finished to give an idea on colour. The beauty about swamp cypress is the timber is amazingly light in weight for its size, so you won’t break your back moving it.
