Looking for a career in building?

BHC is currently looking for a 1st year apprentice carpenter.

During your apprenticeship you will

- work on a vast range of projects ranging through residential, commercial, hospitality, non for profit and facilities maintenance.
- work alongside and learn from qualified builders/carpenters
- work alongside other trades on various sites
- build your skills and knowledge on all aspects of building not just limited to carpentry.

Due to the nature of our work The successful applicant must have

- a willingness to learn and grow their skills
- be punctual and able to turn up on time.
- have a manual license
- have a reliable vehicle
- be able to pass a national police and working with children’s check.
- be 18 years of age minimum.
- if you do not meet the above criteria, please do not apply as you will not be considered.

We are looking for someone willing to work in a team environment and grow with the company.

This position is for an immediate start with a 6 month probation period (probation period does count towards apprenticeship if successful)

We have a large range of commercial and residential projects as well as facility maintenance.
All works are local to Newcastle.

Positions exist for labourers on wages.
- Must be reliable and able to work in a team and unsupervised

- Reliable transport.
