It has been an interesting year and many new things have been made for the first time. Hopefully next year will see more. One of the most interesting projects for the year would have to have been these scale furniture pieces. They are 1:6 scale replicas of a full size Chris Salomone (Foureyes) design called Bad Larry. These replicas have a carcass made from basswood plywood with walnut trim on the front edge. The legs are made from solid Tasmanian Oak. These have then been stained with a walnut stain to reflect the original. I tried to be as faithful to the original design as possible. All the legs have the half lap and cross laps joints of the original. One of the doors does slide though the other has been fixed in place. For a sense of scale the platter sitting on the cabinet at the back is an Australian five cent piece. Any sales enquiries should be directed to Tina (Mid Mod Miniatures)
