Starting the pour. I am always a little paranoid that I have made the mold leak free. I have not done a pour this big for a while. Little annoyed as I thought I had more deep epoxy than I have. But also thinking of another design feature!

Getting to creating the framework for the coffee table. Trying to attach the pieces. Wanting the top to be a feature and also the side to be as well. I am building the mold, it is so important to make sure that it is totally sealed so there will be no leakage!! (Have learnt this from experience!!!) hopefully can get this in the works in the next day or two.

Starting making the holes but my poor little Ryobi drill motor was really struggling with the hardness of this timber. I also did not have some forstner bits to match the dimensions I needed. So nothing like a hand made jig and my makita routers to the rescue!

I have had a request for a custom board 60cmx40cm (or for my imperial mates 23 2/3 x 15 3/4 inches) so too wide to go through the thicknesser/ planer. So had to improvise. But a beautiful piece of camphor laurel with amazing figure! On its way to its new home.

New project!!! I have this amazing timber that is a little wonky, so just need to flatten it before we get going! Lots of sawdust, grateful for the and this amazing router!!! We will see how it goes!
