After a dry dusty start every load of wood is now being cleaned before loading, to ensure the best quality sample.

After a solid month of splitting we have a great little stock pile ready for winter. Thanks to the boys putting in the long days and Touchwood Timber Hire for the machine.

Also a big thanks to our many loyal customers that took delivery of their winter order through our early order program. With a huge amount of firewood
already out the gate.

🔥Early Order Program 🔥

It’s almost that time of year again to stock up on your Red Gum firewood from Northern Timber Co.

With plenty of wood in stock again for 2025, we at Northern Timber Co have a commercial splitter arriving on the 16th of March in preparation for the winter months. Therefore, we are offering to get yourself on the Early Order Program.

What this includes is that you will get your firewood order caught straight off the end of the elevator after being split.
- Meaning zero dirt from re-loading
- Retains small portion of kindling for starting fires
- Guaranteed delivery between March 17th & April 18th

Season pricing will be as it ended in 2024 with a few minor adjustments to smaller amounts.

1m - Farm Pick Up & Card Only $150 per metre plus GST.

2 - 3m Delivered Card Only $150 per metre plus GST.

4 - 16m Cash & Card accepted $150 per metre. GST applied to card payments.

Semi loads still available with price on appraisal.

Free delivery in the Goulburn Valley on all orders 3m and above out of our Nathalia based yard. Delivery fees apply to other orders Victoria wide.

NOW TAKING ORDERS 🔥

We are now taking split firewood orders for Winter 2024 with full time delivery starting from Monday 4th of March.

There is a few changes to this season including a new delivery truck and that EFTPOS is now an available option on delivery alongside our usual cash payment. Split payment methods can also be organised on arrival.

One thing that hasn’t changed is our price… with the price staying the same of $165 a metre.

We are also now taking smaller orders with our order sizes ranging from 2 metres to 12 metres. However, there is a minimum 4 metre order for deliveries located 20km outside of our firewood yard.

Free delivery to Barmah, Nathalia and Numurkah areas. With a minor delivery fee discussed on enquiry for Kyabram, Shepparton, Cobram, Echuca and surrounding areas.

Farm pick ups are still available.

We HIGHLY recommend getting in early to beat the rush due to us expanding our delivery area.

Welcome to Northern Timber Co, your new look firewood supplier 🙂

After stepping away from the partnership, formerly known as Hicks Bro's Firewood and moving back home to Nathalia permanently. I, Alex Hicks along with my wife Ashlee, look forward to continuing to provide red gum firewood to Nathalia and local areas in 2024. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us 🙂

You will now see me spending all my time delivering firewood to our local area. With this permanent move home, you'll now see your orders delivered more efficiently compared to previous years.
