Had the pleasure of having Lilly in the workshop this week doing a work experience. Gig.
A delightful and keen young lady who has shown great enthusiasm and initiative.

She has helped me make a couple of pieces - one that will be going to a local family as a memorial piece ( yes Julie ) and one that will be going to the Longest morning tea for the. Cancer Council Auction…

As of April 1st we will no longer be accepting orders for new work.
This has been advertised for the last month or so.

This has been a tough decision, but needs to be made in the lead up to our retirement late next year, and to allow me to work through my existing 18 month order list prior to that time.

In the past week I have taken several significant orders in the lead up to the cutoff date.
And yesterday did a hard thing and had to tell some people that I could not take their order for a table and chair setting . . . ..

We are not going out of business - Business is as strong and in demand as ever - this is simply a wind down to a retirement plan.

Hi all.
It has been a long struggle to get my head around the concept of Retirement, and how to go about it.
But we have finally made the decision to fade into oblivion at the end of 2027.
We will not be taking anymore orders as of April 1st 2026
And will be working through our existing orders over the next 18 months.
If you have work on order it will be completed as original estimates given at time of ordering.
Existing customers, and those who may have had work from us previously will be accommodated.
We will still be running the workshop/gallery and The Studio Gallery Megastore as normal and further notices will be given prior to the end…
