The last train is on the platform and about to leave…

The Railway Junction.
This amazing Jarrah bed is made from the last of my supply of old railway wagon timbers .
Although there are some smaller pieces left - this is likely to be the last of it for a larger piece like this fantastic looking piece.

Originally an order to go to Melbourne - cancelled by the client two weeks out from completion.
I decided to continue with the build and she will will now replace the outgoing bed set in the Studio Gallery Megastore as our display set.

The bedsides are yet to join her with photos to follow soon.

This lovely Park Bench will be going to a local family that has a long and significant history in Nannup
The connection to this piece is very solid with some components used are from what used to be the old Nannup Post and Telegraph building.

Julie this is mine and Jeans gift to your lovely family.
Roy and Rhoda were so supportive of our fledgling business when we first came to Nannup and the on going connections to the rest of the family have been greatly appreciated.

Here a wee bedtime story….
This wild Marri bed was sold some time ago.

Through the warm summer months the slab timber had a bit of a conniption and developed cracking and splits along the natural edge.
Marri can be fairly reactive in this way.

I offered to replace it with a similar one I had in the Megastore , which was what we did.

So I have now rebuilt, repaired and re finished her.

She has sat in the Studio Gallery Megastore for 5 days….
And yesterday the whole setting was sold to one of my long term VIP clients and soon be re homed to her new home in Busselton.

Which is great , but once again leaves the megastore pretty much empty ……. again….
