While I absolutely love fresh flowers and how amazing they and I fully support those that sell them locally such as McCauley's Pots and Posies (Mundubbera) Burnett Park Produce (Mundubbera), Woodmillar Cut Flowers (Gayndah) & Flowers by Susan (Gayndah) we here at TouchedByTimber only work in Dried and Preserved flowers. because they work for us in the long lasting displays that we create. That would be the entire point of what we do. They are lasting, mostly set in permanent hand crafted and varnished timber for Anniversaries, Birthdays, boardrooms, reception areas, desktops, Foyers... anywhere that you want a lasting statement piece that is beautiful and uniquely crafted.
We also can do floral bouquets in your favorite keepsake vases and heirloom vessels upon request.
How long do they last?
Dried flowers last one to two years if stored properly.
Preserved flowers can last many years, longevity depends on indoor use, avoiding direct sunlight and high humidity.
Whatβs the difference between dried and preserved flowers?
Dried flowers are fully dehydrated and lose their original texture and flexibility.
Preserved flowers retain the natural look and feel of fresh flowers using glycerine, alcohol, or resin treatments.
