My passion for working with wood started when I was 14 years of age. On weekends, I’d muck around as a hobbyist and learning the tools and quirks of different types of wood at the Yarrawonga Mulwala Woodworking Club. For my Year 12 major project, I built a two tired red gum bar, and proudly aced the class.
20 years on, I now have real work experience under my belt. I’ve created many a custom project for clients. In a particular quest to enhance my welding, I spent 12 months working for a large scale shed manufacturer - I now regularly and professionally contract on projects for Corowa Bush Furniture. I still also “hobby” and create bespoke pieces for competition.
Tables (dining, outdoors), chairs, benches, wood heaters / fire pits, fire places (and repairs), trailers, pet enclosures (for trailers/utes) (for at home), wine racks, clocks, mirrors, picture frames, garden statues... you name it, I can probably make it.
If you have a special piece of wood, or some rusty old tools you’d like to create something with but you’re not sure what... if you have merely an idea of a product you want (dimensions always help), send me a message and collaboratively, we can workshop your end result from there.
My motto is this: “You’ll never work a day, if you love what you do.” I absolutley love what I do and even more, I love knowing that someone is happy with something I’ve made.
