What does ‘rinnovare’ mean?

The word “rinnovare” means to renew, renovate, restore or refurbish in Italian. What a great word! It aligns perfectly with my values for restoration, recycling and repurposing household items.

I have been a passionate restorer of old things for many years now, be it rubbing down old brass window hardware, restoring tables and chairs or breathing new life into old fabrics. The possibilities are endless.

At a time when people are becoming conscious of the amount of waste they produce and the impact this has on their environments, there is more need than ever to restore, rejuvenate and reinvent at all levels of living. Rinnovare attempts to create products that are functional, usable and beautiful!
