Not every statement piece needs to be custom-made.

At Cross Keys Hotel, the impact comes just as much from smart product selection as it does from bespoke design. The Tiramisu Chair and matching stools in rich blue velvet have been used throughout the venue to create a bold, cohesive look—adding texture, colour, and an indulgent sense of comfort that instantly draws people in.

As part of Nextrend's stocked range, our Tiramisu collection shows that you don't need to splurge on everything custom to achieve a high-end result. The key is knowing when to design from scratch, and when a well-chosen product can bring everything together seamlessly.

At Nextrend, we offer the best of both worlds. Custom where it matters, and stocked solutions that still deliver impact where it counts.

Our relationship doesn't end at handover.

Once your venue is ready to open, we offer long-term support, ensuring your space still feels as good six months later as it did on day one.

Your aftercare experience matters just as much as the fit-out.

At Cross Keys Hotel, custom furniture plays a key role in shaping the overall look and feel of their newly revitalised space.

One standout feature is the lounge-style chair, finished with contrasting upholstery on the front and back—adding depth, character, and a subtle point of difference that catches the eye from every angle.

This attention to detail continues through to their custom booth seating, designed specifically to suit the layout of the venue. It balances comfort with practicality, ensuring the space works and flows just as well for their guests as it does for their staff.

It’s these made-to-order elements that help create a space that feels thoughtfully considered and truly memorable.

What if your furniture became part of the experience?

At Cross Keys Hotel, we brought that idea to life with fully customised table tops featuring embedded board games, including Chess, Scrabble, and Snakes & Ladders. Designed to spark interaction and keep guests engaged, these tables turn a simple visit into something more memorable.

This is what we do best at Nextrend. From integrating unique features to rethinking how spaces are used, we work with venues to create furniture solutions that go beyond the expected.

If you’ve got an idea in mind, we’d love to help bring it to life.

Reviving an iconic landmark. Reimagining the experience.

Nextrend was proud to deliver a full furniture fit-out for the Cross Keys Hotel - Tighes Hill, a much-loved Art Deco venue brought back to life for a new era of hospitality.

Covering the Main Bar, Lounge, and Alfresco areas, the brief was to create a cohesive look that complements the building’s heritage while supporting the demands of a modern hospitality space.

Working closely with their team, custom elements included:

✨ Bespoke table tops featuring built-in classic board games such as Chess, Scrabble, and Snakes & Ladders
✨ Lounge seating with tailored upholstery combinations
✨ Custom booth seating designed to suit the flow and feel of each space

These were paired with stocked pieces like the Tiramisu Chair and blue velvet stools, creating a seamless aesthetic throughout the venue.

Connected to both its history and its community, this is now a space where everyone wants to stay for ""just a little while longer"".

Back in full swing, we can't wait to see what the next chapter holds for the Cross Keys Hotel.
