I am making an ooutdoor bench. The timber is FSC certified Manilkara Bidentata ( Pacific Jarrah ) from The Woodage at Mittagong. It is from South America and the Brazilians call it bulletwood for it's extremely hard and is so dense that it does not float in water.It is so heavy. Here I am gluing up the end frames and using a wedged mortise and tenon joint.

Excited to discover that my work has been included in a Swiss book published in 2013 called Offices. The building at Wildes Meadow is called the Black Box Studio and was designed by wonderful Bowral Architect Tina Tziallas. I designed and made the furniture as well doing the joinery fit out.
