I’m trying to keep busy with lots of help from the boys. My hands aren’t so good so doing manual stuff has fallen onto them. I’ve joined the committee for the Marburg Garden and Outdoor Expo. Everyone is so lovely and we are underway lots going on. It’s going to be bigger than last year. We are trying to grow some veggies. My cousin and her husband gave us three upright gardens so where benches use to be has become a veggie plot. I’ve also planted in the baths on the side of the house. Everything is growing really well. We have lots of plants left and I don’t have a heart to throw them out so they are all going into our gardens. Yesterday Paul planted heaps of garlic. We’ve put in beans, orach, shallots, snow peas and used an old bed frame for them to climb on. Have a great day everyone. I’m off for a cuppa. 😊

For Mothers Day this year the boys bought me a fire pit. We haven’t had time to use it until yesterday. Cooper cooked us all a beautiful roast pork and jacket potatoes. Pork in the Camp oven and potatoes on hot coals. We toasted naan bread with cheese and spice. I’m 54 and never camped but it was so much fun. We found marshmallows and toasted them. I can’t wait for the day we can go on an adventure. Meanwhile I’m going to cook at home. Dessert in the Camp oven is next. An apple and rhubarb crumble sounds good. Have a great week everyone. 😊

Today was the last day of my Herb Run through Brisbane. I did OK right up until my last shop and broke down to the owner. Thank you to all the amazing shops that have supported us and the customers that kept buying our herbs. I'm sorry to let you all down. I'm not sure what's next. A few big days of cleaning up. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

I’m not sure if you’ve ever been to the Mulgowie Bush Dance but it’s always a fun night. It’s on this weekend. For a small country town Mulgowie has a huge heart and a very special Community. ❤️😊
