What you see: a before and after.
What you don't see: finding the piece, messaging about it, arranging the pickup, taking the kids' car seats out to fit it in, putting the car seats back. The wood filler. The veneer repair. The color matching a patch until it disappears. The gluing, the clamping, the waiting. The sanding, starting at 80 grit and working all the way up, then hand sanding, getting the paont out of every little nook and cranny. Working under pressure getting the stain to look smooth before it dries too much, Loading the paint gun, cleaning the paint gun. Making a mistake and sanding it back. Wash the microfibre cloths. Taping the dovetail joints so they stay crisp. Cleaning the brushes, rinsing the brushes, hanging them to dry. Tracking what's running low (always sandpaper... always sandpaper). Resetting the workspace. Moving the piece carefully, every single time. Staging it for photos. Unstaging it.
There's so muvh invisible labour that goes into this. I love it though. 😊
