she has lost blood which is associated with death.
kedusha holiness dwells where there is life.
a Mikva has water which represents life and hence after Mikva she is pure again and her union with her husband is blessed.

I'm looking for the source of the mitzvah of going to the mikvah after being in niddah. I've been directed by others to parts in vayikra that speak about niddah, but there it says a woman should bring a korban when she is finished being in niddah. What I'm looking for is where the mitzvah of going t...

Mikva miracle 18 of 18 woow: A woman had been abused as a child and teen, and when she heard of the mikva idea it hurt her. She felt mikva was reinforcing the idea her abusers had given her that she was 'dirty'. Nonetheless at a cetain point her life was becoming unbearable and she turned to religion. She had a baby girl but because of her low self image and feelings of her being dirty she wiuldnt alllow herself to spend time with the baby (aside from nursing). This in turn was ruining her family. She sought comfort in religion. It eas then she dexided to give mikva another tey. As she went to mikva she felt how it actually was lifting her false image of herself. Although she didn't get better overnight she realised that rather than mikva proving women ate dirty it showed women are fine. They have certain times in the month where there must be some separation between husband and wife physically but not emotionally and at other times they can be fully together. the separation doesn't reflect any 'crime' this particular woman had done. May we all find comfort in this mikva ritual, though not for the reasons of this women. source: Total immersion, by Rivka Slonim

mikva miracle 17. a woman decides to keep mikva to enaure a healthy marriage. she follows the Laws and is thus rewarded. though non religious she heard about mikva. it made sense. ultimately she dated and married a religious Jew. now she keeps the laws and has a healthy happy marriage. May we all be ao blessed to learn and keep these priceless laws. and they were all discovered at a shiur in Thailanad because this woman was open to any idea that would su0prt her findong and keeping a husband. for more info see this link. http://jewishmom.com/2017/03/16/i-became-religious-because-of-the-family-purity-laws-by-anonymous/ -578725

Mikva miracle story 16:
a lady wanted to keep the laws of taharas hamishpacha. Here's her story. She was from Germany. When the N***s came her and her mum were taken to the camps. Her mother said to her as they heard the sound of the N***s approaching them, " Daughter, please keep a special group of laws called taharas hamishpacha. you are only 7 and cannot understand what it is now but after the war you will survive. then you will go t a Rabbi and he will teach you the laws." when the girl was ready to marry she told her fiance of this promise. indeed her and her husband kept the laws. The miracle is that even though she grew up in a kibutz and did not lead a fully observant lifestyle she was able to commit to these laws. am yisroel chai.

Mikva miracle 15: A Swedish woman wanted to keep the laws of Mikva. however there was no Mikva in her town. She nonetheless found unconventional ways to keep the tradition. In the summer she frequented the Swedish style beaches. In Sweden there are special beaches sectioned off for women only and women can swim n**e there. In the Winter there is a Swedish sport conducive to mikva. It includes breaking ice and jumping in the water. Then the person jumps in a sauna for heat. Sometimes this righteous women wasn't strong enough to break the ice. Then she waited till Spring to do this sport and return to normal marriage relations. Now her daughter is grown. This mitzvah of her mum surely gives the daughter the strength to keep this mitzva alive and perpetuate the miracle Of our long-standing Mikva commitment. Am yisroel chai
