Intrend Joinery is a professional kitchen and detailed joinery company, specialising in bespoke and architectural joinery who are based in Mascot, NSW. We provide a personalised start-to-finish service from design stages, right through to installation. All our joinery is custom made from our local factory using high end products and materials.

We are currently looking for an experienced joinery draftsman with excellent knowledge of Microvellum to join our team to assist with the planning and manufacture of our commercial and residential projects.

To be successful for this role, you must have:

• 2+ years’ experience with Microvellum (essential)
• A strong understanding of Biesse CNC machinery
• Previous kitchen and cabinet making drafting design experience
• Knowledge of the joinery manufacturing process
• The ability to interpret technical drawings and/or architectural plans
• Superior drafting skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Take pride in the work you do and are highly motivated
• The ability to multi task and work on several projects at one time

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Creating accurate CAD based drawings to provide the client with 2D/3D layout as required
• Transfer of data into Biesse CNC software to initiate the manufacturing process.
• Participate in production meetings
• Ensuring all project deadlines are met

Microvellum Draftsman required for an immediate start

We are currently offering a full-time position for a fully qualified Joiner/Cabinet Maker to assist with our onsite installations, with our factory based in Mascot, NSW.

In order to be successful for this role, you must have completed a trade qualification in joinery and/or cabinet making and have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar installation role.

You will be required to:

- Travel to sites to perform installations in a professional manner while delegating tasks to other members of the team.

- Be very confident in your own skills and be able to work autonomously to resolve any issues.

- Have a high level of physical fitness and strength in order to lift and install heavy cabinetry.

- Being able to read architectural plans and put them into action in a timely manner.

- Have an eye for high-end workmanship and ensuring all jobs are always completed correctly.

- Ensuring site is left clean and tidy while being respectful of other people’s property and belongings.

- Receive instruction by management and following through with minimal supervision.

- Have a good hard-working ethic and being a responsible team player with a friendly attitude.

- Having excellent attendance, reliability and attention to detail.

The successful candidate must also have the following:

- Valid NSW driver’s license

- Forklift License (preferred)

- White Card

- Trade qualification

Salary will be negotiated based on experience and company car will also be provided.
