So I decided to run to the store. I get home only to see my dog is up to no good. My dog is laying on the back patio covered in dirt with a rabbit in his mouthšŸ˜³. The Rabbit's not bloody, just dirty. Now, my neighbor's kids raise these Blue Ribbon WINNER RabbitsšŸ¤”. I instantly knew it was one of their rabbitsšŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø. So I took the rabbit away from my dog, I rushed inside, washed all the dirt off it before my neighbors could come home. It was stiff but I heard some ANIMALS play dead when they are AFRAID, I couldn't remember which animals because I was NERVOUS šŸ˜Ø. I took it and placed it back in one of the cages that sits on my neighbors back deck, then I ran back home. NOT 30 minutes later I hear my neighbors screamingšŸ˜³. so I go out and ask them what's wrong? šŸ¤«

They tell me their rabbit died three days ago and they buried it but now it's back in the cage.šŸ˜–

As a guitarist, I play many gigs. Recently I was asked by a funeral director to play at a graveside service for a homeless man. He had no family or friends, so the service was to be at a pauperā€™s cemetery in the back country. As I was not familiar with the backwoods, I got lost.

I finally arrived an hour late and saw the funeral guy had evidently gone and the hearse was nowhere in sight. There were only the diggers and crew left and they were eating lunch.

I felt badly and apologized to the men for being late. I went to the side of the grave and looked down and the vault lid was already in place. I didnā€™t know what else to do, so I started to play.

The workers put down their lunches and began to gather around. I played out my heart and soul for this man with no family and friends. I played like Iā€™ve never played before for this homeless man.

And as I played ā€˜Amazing Grace,ā€™ the workers began to weep. They wept, I wept, we all wept together. When I finished I packed up my guitar and started for my car. Though my head hung low, my heart was full.

As I opened the door to my car, I heard one of the workers say, ā€œI never seen nothinā€™ like that before and Iā€™ve been putting in septic tanks for twenty years.ā€
