I would describe myself as a designer and recycler. Combining a love for the new with a passion for the old. My fascination with up-cycling has always been there, as a child I was always collecting things and trying to rework them into something beautiful. After studying and working in interior design I lived overseas for a number of years. When I returned to Australia my husband and I made the mo
ve to Margaret River. Here I rekindled my love for making and creating. After taking a short course in upholstery to bring a couple of my old chairs back to life I fell in love with the art of upholstery and the ability to bring new life to beautiful old pieces of furniture. I started collecting vintage chairs and stools to restore and reupholster. With a background in Interior design and a love of textiles, colour, pattern, texture and all things vintage it allows me to create unique one of a kind designs. My time is now spent passionately immersed in Interior and Upholstery design projects which range from creating bespoke furniture pieces and sourcing unique home wares to custom made and designed curtains, cushions and much more.
