Finally finished Xavy's cooking bench. Heaps of storage space, shelves and drawers. Tasmanian Oak and hardwood top, finished with Tung oil for a food safe prep area. Camphor Laurel legs and trims, recycled hoop pine panelling. Just in time for some Xmas cooking!

I'm making this cabinet for myse boy Xavy who loves to cook. The top is Tasmanian Oak (fiddle back) mostly. Mixed hardwoods and Camphor Laurel for the trim and legs. Recycled timber panelling for the drawer fronts and sides. The top is finished with 3 coats of Tung oil for a food safe finish. Doors incoming.

Hey everyone!! A bit of a photo dump showing some cupboards and wardrobes I completed during a recent renovation. The layout design varied between each and kind of evolved during the build. The internal shelving etc is construction ply and the doors and drawer fronts are recycled hoop pine. A couple of coats of lacquer brought their colours out nicely.

Finally finished this outdoor table restoration for Yamba’s Fisho. Painstaking work getting the old stain and lacquer off. Came up really nice, beautiful timber, lots of character. Bedded a few old fishing lures in the resin where I patched the timber. I’ll post a video as well shortly.
