As we wrap up 2025, we want to thank every client who trusted us with their projects this year. Two years in, and what a journey it’s been — a year of real growth, learning, and refining our craft.

Every door, drawer and panel, every finish, every detail has been a chance to do what we love. We’re grateful for the builders, cabinetmakers, and homeowners who’ve backed us and helped build something we’re proud of.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas filled with good company and well-earned rest. Here’s to 2026 — more projects, more growth, and plenty of fresh finishes ahead.

Let's Talk About Metamerism 🤓🎨 (Don't worry, we'll explain)

Ever shown a client a perfect colour match in your workshop, only to have them call you saying "it looks different at home"? Welcome to metamerism - the fancy word for why colours play tricks on us.

What the heck is metamerism?
It's when two colours that match perfectly under one type of light look different under another. Your workshop fluoros vs. their kitchen downlights? Totally different game.

The Plot Thickens:
Add in any level of 2Pac sheen vs. a flat colour card, throw in some viewing angles, and suddenly the same colour can look like three different colours depending on where you're standing and what lights are on.
Mind. Blown. 🤯
The Pro Move:
Always assess colour matches:
✅ Upright (installed position)
✅ In natural light
✅ At different times of day if possible
That flat panel under your workshop lights? Not telling you the full story.
