My why has always been family 🀍

I was mentored by an incredible woman β€” my mum.

She gave me the foundations that shaped the woman I am today. Her strength, determination and passion continue to guide me every day, even though she hasn’t been here for almost 20 years.

This business was originally my mum’s. When she passed away in 2005, I was just 17 years old and suddenly found myself carrying something much bigger than a furniture store.

What started as a family business became a legacy.

Over the years, this business has given me direction, purpose and a way to honour everything she taught me. It has grown with me through every chapter of life, from being a teenager finding my way, to becoming a mother myself.

Today, my why is still family.

My children. My brother. My sister-in-law. The people who stand beside me. The customers who trust us with their homes.

There is a lot of heart in this business.

We’re not just creating furniture. We’re helping create homes, memories and spaces where life happens.

As part of our Lower Plenty whole-home project, this gold and marble baroque vanity was custom designed for our customer’s powder room.

Rather than treating the space as purely functional, the intention was to create a moment of luxury for guests as they entered and experienced the home β€” something detailed, elegant and memorable within a very special residence.

With its carved detail, marble top and statement finish, this piece brought character and refinement into the room while still being designed for everyday use.

I grew up with this business being such a big part of who my mum was. She loved it deeply, she had such a passion for it, and I was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by that.

Now, that same passion lives in me.

This business has given me an amazing foundation β€” not just in furniture, but in creativity, hard work, customer care and the joy of helping people create beautiful homes.

I genuinely love what I do, and I feel so grateful to continue building on something that started with so much heart.
