After completing every factory training opportunity (Over 100 Coarses) , including Harley university in the USA. I decided to challenge myself again in life. After taking my children to several Second Hand shops 23 years ago, I realised they were dark ,dinghy and uninviting places. Although I had no idea of what furniture, electrical goods were in demand or even what they were worth, I took a blin

d step to challenge and motivate myself. I knew there was a better way of doing this. In my spare time between work life and business owner life, I have relocated 3 houses from one location to another and totally renovating them. Also buying several commercial buildings and renovating them. This has been in the outside of my working hours. I have a strive for service and detail. I like inventing systems of management to make things work. I pride myself on being someone who left school in grade 10 and have achieved more than most people who went to university.

PLEASE READ - The Town Trader has finally closed. Our doors will be open Monday and Tuesday while we are packing up. Stock is very limited. We will be giving away a few items that I don't think the new tenants can sell. Please give us till 1pm before you call in and grab for free. Also I will be posting a few pics over the next few weeks from The Town Trader Archives, From the beginning till now. After 24 years, It amazes me how people tell me they remember coming in as kids and they have their own now. The Town Trader could not lasted for 24 years if not for the amazing long term employees, with the worst sense of humours possible. Plus my wife and children that made it work from the start. We have always recycled, employed Tasmanians and been a family business for 24 years. I am so proud that I decided when to stop when I needed to. My Final closing sale will continue tomorrow 9.30am to 4.30pm. Sat 10 am to 2pm. Next week Tues to Fri 9.30am to 4.30pm. Next Sat 10am to 2pm. EPIC GARAGE SALE PART 2 THE FINALE . AS PER PHOTOS . PLEASE READ. PLEASE NOTE I will not be answering the hundreds of question, call in please.
We Also have a huge amount of furniture and collectables left. On Wednesday May 6th at 9.30am. We will open again for 2 weeks, before the new tenants take over the building. All garage sale items left will be for sale for half the price we had on them(Including all the retro gaming items) Most of the furniture is already half price. These 2 weeks will be make me an offer.
