Meet Cooper - 4th Generation furniture expert coming through the family business
As a kid, Hymark was less of a workplace and more of a playground. He’d race pallet jacks around the warehouse, get hold of the tools and occasionally trigger a smoke alarm or two...😂
“I was always around Dad, the family and the business. It never really felt separate growing up.”
Cooper later studied at the Australian Maritime College, training as a coxswain and ship captain, but Hymark was always the vision.
Today, he works alongside his dad and helps across almost every part of the business, from assisting customers in the showroom and working on the warehouse floor to helping deliver furniture into homes across Tasmania.
“It’s never the same day twice, and that’s probably what I enjoy most.”
That variety is a big part of what Hymark is all about. Every customer is different, every home is different and every piece of furniture needs to suit real life, not just look good in a showroom.
From racing pallet jacks to helping carry a four-generation family business forward, Cooper is proud to play his part in giving Tasmanian customers the same friendly, honest and personal service Hymark has always been known for.
