Are you looking at investing in a new compressor for the financial end of year? Then look no further than the PM2 SERIES and the APM SERIES. With full technical support and service. The PM2 and APM series works by ramping up and down to coincide with your air demands, supplying only the amount of air and constant pressure needed. Unlike fixed-speed compressors, the SCR PM2’s and SCR APM’s goal is to keep the compressor continually on load and avoid running time offload. PM2 and SCR APM’s compressors have a wide variable range, making them suitable for multiple applications, resulting in significant energy savings and minimising CO2 emissions.

PM2 SERIES HIGH-EFFICIENCY TANK-MOUNTED PERMANENT MAGNET VSD ROTARY SCREW COMPRESSOR
On start-up, traditional fixed-speed compressors with direct online or star-delta starters, can draw up to 3.5 times their full load current. The soft-start technology on the PM2 variable speed ensures that the starting current never exceeds the rated value. The Work Health and Safety Code of Practice for managing noise at work states that 85dB(A) is an acceptable noise level for 8 hours continuous exposure. From 67-71dB(A), the Westair SCR PM Series is therefore quiet and perfect for maintaining a safe workplace.

The Inovance VSD operates both the main permanent magnet motor and the fan motor for optimal energy savings. Setting a constant temperature with the fan motor inverter control ensures the best lubrication performance and prevents high-temperature trips. On start-up, traditional fixed-speed compressors with direct online or star-delta starters, can draw up to 3.5 times their full load current. The soft-start technology on the APM variable speed ensures that the starting current never exceeds the rated value.
