Here we go again!
More changes.....
As of today the QLD regional channels (not Brisbane) will be changing.
WIN is now associated with channel 10, not 9. And Southern Cross is now associated with 9, not 10!
So basically the same programs will now be on a different channel number!
As best I can see so far the new locations are..

5 is Nine Sunshine Coast
8 still called WIN but channel 10 programs
50 or 52 is 9 GEM
55 or 53 is 9 GO
80 called WIN Sunshine Coast HD but ch 10
82 is 11 Sunshine Coast
83 is ONE Sunshine Coast
88 is the same as 83.

So if you want to see the footy tonight, go to 5 not 8!
We have been told that no retuning will be required, however I noticed this morning my Panasonic recorder is still calling 83 GO, where it should be called ONE. Will see if it changes later today.....

As of about 8:00 pm tonight the 5th June, the Nambour based TV transmitter at Dulong is not transmitting any channels. Have also heard there are blackouts in the area too! No sign of when it will be back on yet....

Well we have officially changed the name of our business! It is now Simply Antennas (was Simply Electronics). This is to reflect the future direction our small business is taking. (Also to distance our business name from a large import company down south which doesn’t have the ideal feedback and has the same business name as us!). Also our new website is now www.simplyantennas.com.au

We service the entire Sunshine Coast but specialise in the Nambour, Yandina, Coolum, Palmwoods, Woombye and Northern Hinterland areas.

Now that Analog TV has finally been phased out, and most people are receiving Digital TV, you thought it was time to relax in your arm chair...... then think again!
Due to a restacking of channels, (for those of you that haven't already) you will need to retune your TV and recorders, etc.
