About the role
The Chippy Co is looking for a switched-on 2nd or 3rd year apprentice carpenter to join our crew in Brisbane. You’ll be working across residential projects with a focus on quality workmanship, tidy sites and looking after clients.

What you’ll be doing

Framing, fix-out and decking

Cladding (including FC) and external carpentry

Assisting with set-out, measuring and cutting

Working with an experienced, supportive tradesman who’ll help you finish your time properly

Must have

Currently enrolled as a 2nd or 3rd year carpentry apprentice in Australia

Reliable ute and licence (you’ll be moving between sites)

White Card

Basic tools for your level

Solid attitude: on time, willing to learn, respectful on site

We offer

One-on-one training to get you to tradesman level

New job underway in Pullenvale.
Removing old chimney then install new rafter and VJ cladding and resheet roof.
Then we start building bespoke recessed TV and storage unit.

These stairs were in dire need for a total redo.
Stringers were pine and rotted out and were unsafe.
We sent in Preston (our new carpenter) to add another chapter in the life of this character home in Brookfield.
As always we end seal all our cuts.
