Been doing a lot of pre-harvest header inspections lately. Most of the time the headers are sort of clean, but today I was really happy doing a inspection on a Case 7240 with about 2200hrs on it. The header was pretty clean which as a header mechanic you want so it's easier to find problems, it makes a s**t job a little bit more enjoyable. Then I came to inspect the radiator area, unbelievably clean, you know when a farmer/operator takes a lot of pride in his equipment but I guess when it cost over 1 million to buy these days, it pays to look after it.

AgServe Mobile Diesel Services is looking for a motivated and reliable team member to join our growing business.

Seeking either:

* 3rd Year Apprentice progressing into 4th Year
* 4th Year Apprentice (almost qualified)
* Qualified Diesel Mechanic

Based in South Australia's Mid North, we provide on-site, field and workshop servicing and repairs across a large range of agricultural farm machinery and equipment. No two days are the same.

What you’ll be working on:

Tractors * Headers * Sprayers * Spreaders * Balers * Mower Cond.
* Hydraulic repairs
* Air conditioning
* Engine and Driveline rebuilds
