1973, Salamanca, by Tom Samek. As always, ahead of its time — and still very beautiful today.
The silverfish have had a tiny nibble, which honestly feels understandable because it’s pretty delicious-looking. We colour matched the frame to a deep rust red, then softened it with a custom curved-corner profile.
And there was never any question of float mounting — all of that history, wear and provenance deserved to be seen.
