Due to international shipping disruptions affecting our usual clothing pathways, are-able is temporarily bringing in our charity clothing hubs until further notice.

We know many people in our community support are-able by donating quality pre-loved clothing, and we are very grateful. At the moment, we are unable to move clothing through our usual channels, so we are asking people not to place clothing or textile donations in are-able clothing hubs until further notice.

Please hold onto your donations for now. If an alternative local drop-off option becomes available, we will share an update here.

A big thank you to Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, Governor of Victoria, for visiting Nigretta of Hamilton last week.

Her Excellency explored our workshop and showed a strong interest in our sustainability work, including sterilisation cloth recycling for Western District Health Service, our e-waste program and our plastics-sorting partnership with Sustainable Plastic Solutions. She also heard about the community projects our team supports through the local shire.

She admired the craftsmanship of our timber products, particularly our redgum chopping boards. To commemorate the visit, Her Excellency presented Site Manager Jamie Lynas with a Vice-Regal coin and we gifted her one of our handcrafted redgum boards as a thank you.
