Feeling disheartened...........This morning ready to keep rocking on the large chest of drawers... only to find the top coat AND UNDERCOAT scratch off with my finger nail... this has now become a massive job to strip the entire chest back and start again...

The staining product ensured total paint coverage so when the sander gave up I trusted the small amount of paint embedded in the grain would be invisible.. OH NO NOT SO!

Then things begin to go wrong! The pad fell out of the sander...It was a cheap one as I was not into production when I grabbed it.. So now need to invest in a work horse sander!

Progress, slow but steady... Repairs repatched, filled, undercoat all now ready for the top dressing.... Had no idea that would challenge me big time. Making choices on colours and finishes.....
