Germax Interiors Germax Interiors was founded in 1984 by two enthusiastic and eager cabinet makers. We invested in technology infrastructure and Computer-Aided Manufacturing.

Germax Interiors is known for exceptional quality and customer service specialising in custom made joinery and furniture for the commercial sector for 40 years. The young company developed an excellent reputation for its attention to detail and production quality. As our customer base and annual projects grew, we focused on automation realizing the opportunities. Today, we use AutoCAD and 3D analy

ser during the production planning process. As a result, we are positioned to take on bigger jobs and complete production in shorter time frames without compromising production and finishing quality. Commitment to excellent customer service remains a high priority at Germax from the initial meeting to the final stage is a key part of our mission. Many of our customers are returning customers, a clear tribute to our commitment to quality and service excellence, and ability to deliver on time. Germax now has a team of highly skilled and formally trained craftsmen. Committed to the craft and giving back to its industry, Germax continues to train many young people through its apprenticeship program. Looking towards the future, we remain committed to manufacturing high quality products and to deliver excellent customer service.

Germax Interiors is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker/Joiner to join our team in our workshop located in Greenacre, NSW. This full-time role will see you play a key part in the fabrication of bespoke joinery and furniture for commercial projects.

What you'll be doing
• Reading and interpreting design specifications to produce custom joinery and furniture pieces
• Operating woodworking machinery such as saws, routers, and sanders to fabricate components
• Maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment
• Collaborating with the production team to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard

What we're looking for
• Formal qualifications in Cabinet Making or a related trade
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Cabinet Maker or Joiner in a workshop environment
• Excellent woodworking skills and the ability to read technical drawings
• Proficient in the use of power tools and woodworking machinery
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
