1. Tow Vehicle & Hitch Inspection
✅ Coupling: Functions correctly, no excessive wear or rust
✅ Safety Chains: Attached properly with rated shackles and no visible damage
✅ Breakaway System: Functioning correctly, battery charged (if applicable)
✅ Electrical Plug & Wiring: Connected, lights functioning (brake, indicators, taillights)
✅ Weight Distribution Hitch (if used): Installed and tensioned correctly
2. Caravan Brakes & Suspension
✅ Handbrake: Functions correctly
✅ Suspension & Springs: No visible damage, no sagging or broken components
✅ Shock Absorbers (if fitted): No leaks or unusual wear
✅ Wheel Bearings: No excessive play, recently greased (check maintenance schedule)
✅ Wheel Nuts: Torqued to the correct specification
3. Tyres & Wheels
✅ Tyre Pressure: Correct PSI (as per manufacturer recommendation)
✅ Tyre Condition: No cracks, bulges, or excessive wear
✅ Spare Tyre: Properly inflated, secure mounting
✅ Wheel Alignment: No signs of uneven wear or tracking issues
4. Caravan Chassis & Underside

✅ Stabilizer Legs: Functions correctly and Fully retracted and secure
✅ Jockey Wheel: Functions correctly, Removed or locked in place
