**From paddock to pantry. š³ā”ļøš”**
This walnut island bench started long before the first cut was made.
As a child, our client planted these walnut trees on his parentsā farm. Decades later, we boarded a plane and walked the property together, carefully selecting the trees that would become the centrepiece of his new home.
The logs were harvested and transported back to our mill, where they were sawn into boards and left to air dry naturally for over two years. Only then did the real craftsmanship begin.
Every panel, moulding and detail of this island was built from timber that had grown alongside our clientās own story. After months in the workshop, the completed piece made the journey back to Melbourne, where we spent several days installing it into its forever home.
Thereās something special about furniture, but thereās something even more special about furniture with a history that canāt be bought.
A tree planted by a child.
A lifetime of patience.
A kitchen built to last generations.
